I don't think anyone can honestly argue the legit ubiquity of the Rockman
as an iconic element in 80's tones. Either alone or stacked and mixed with
other elements.

Liking it or not is another thing.

It's an instant buy for me.

The Rockman chorus is more like Eventide micropitch than standard chorus. Tom used the H910 in the studio on the first couple of albums (there's pics of it in his studio). I have no doubt he modeled his chorus circuit after it.

The thing is, transport yourself back to the mid 80's. There were hardly any cheap stereo guitar rigs for the typical consumer, and the average Joe couldn't afford (let alone knew about) the earlier Eventide Harmonizer studio gear, so when you plugged in to the Rockman thing, your ears were titillated with this cool stereo sound that you never heard before while playing your guitar.
