Little Richard was such a bad a$$

Reading some of the stories and watching some of his interviews, I have come to the conclusion that this dude was the baddest and most influential mofo in Rock and Roll. Chuck may be the true King of rock and roll but Little Richard IMHO was the architect.

Did you watch that American Masters episode featuring his story?

I agree, and to think he invented an entire new genre of music in the face of the kinds of obstacles he
had to deal with. Just wow! But we could say that about the Kings and the Guys and Arethas and the
Gayes of the world, too.

But yeah, he cleared the way with the blowtorch of his gifts and spirit.

I did see some snippets of it while I was in the Little Richard rabbit hole yesterday. Some almost unbelievable and incredible stuff he went through.
