Btw I still withhold my early Stomp years fantasies about a HX FS3 to accompany the the HX Stomp… DI laughed at me and I still shed a few tears now and then for that… he’s right though… I understand that.
Just let those other tool companies design a bunch of external devices that works excellent with the stomp and let them have the money while we ignore the fact that tons of people would actually love a Stomp designed extra foot switch box with Oled rings and cap sense switches.

But it was a cool dream… that they ruined with that “low hanging fruit” abomination of a Stomp…. (Yes Eric… I will use that quote as often as I can, hah hah hah hrm)

Versus the smaller Helix Stadium.

To explain the premise how I ended up with this:
  • I cut the knobs down to 4 first, then realized that shrinking the screen would work better with 5.
  • I figured there's no room on the left side, so move the output controls to one side and use the smaller knob+buttons style. XLR out is not likely, so just I/O and headphones buttons.
  • Fitting branding makes it a bit tight, and in reality a company would probably make it a bit larger for more harmonious space.
  • The on-screen control labels/sliders/values are a bit bigger than on the real deal as I wanted them to fit above the controls better.
EDIT: This is the older version. See a few posts down with one that has more correct switch spacing.

I think it's a bit tighter than the real thing between the two sets of switches since I spliced the two sides of the Stadium together. So in reality the entire chassis would be a bit bigger but with same switch spacing as the Stadium.

This is with more realistic proportions for switch spacing.
  • I realized I needed to use the top row switches because that section needs to be raised.
  • I'd probably put the switch labels above the switches like on the bottom row, but can't be bothered to do all that graphics wranging for this.
  • Overall chassis size needed to be a bit bigger, which gives it a bit more space for everything.
  • Added those polygon thingies up top. Wireless antennas?

Lose one set of buttons and a knob and add scribble strips.
