Line 6 Helix Stadium Talk

Yeah, I've requested this in the past myself. We're still tweaking things.
That’s great to hear. Just put a toggle somewhere in settings with an option where the scroll wheel doesn’t affect sliders or knobs. Or permanently disable it. I have never found it to be useful anyway.

My biggest complaint about HX edit and Helix Native. I was hoping that with the option for knobs instead of sliders this wouldn’t be a problem anymore.
Yeah - that used to bug me as well!

AND - I was really hoping for a new color scheme since Stadium is a new thing. I really don't care for the red and black everywhere - it's not that easy to read.

Here's a clean ambient-ish thing, using US Super Vib, Adriatic Delay in stereo, and Dynamic Hall in stereo:

I'm going to be honest, and kinda forthright.... I don't really like the Helix reverbs. Like, at all. There isn't a single one in there that gives me the horn. I'm definitely going to need to add verbs in the loops.

Adriatic Delay is as beautiful as ever.

You mean the colored boxes on non-XL's Play view? Tapping them doesn't do anything right now, but it probably will.
Yup, those ones. I could see myself utilizing those as a marginally faster way to just do footswitch stuff when the unit is on a desk, go to different modes etc when there's no need to find the right footswitch to push or hold first.

Sounds great, man. I hear nothing lacking in that reverb. What's not doing it for you?

Honestly, I think it looks fine as is in terms of structure and format - i feel that they just need to update the color scheme - which would be a much smaller ask.

I dunno man, it just aint smooth sounding, it lacks gravitas. Here's the Ventris with a similar kind of thing:

Same amp. Ventris in FX loop 1+2.

I've found one thing I don't really like - the icons for the effects loops. They're not really clear enough as to which loop is being used. They're just white lines that kinda trail off upwards to nowhere. I get the point, they're meant to be insert cables. But I think they could be nicer.

I feel like if Proxy is able to capture spaces or do convolution the reverb will be a moot point

I feel like it will be, but they hired DSP people whose specialty is reverb, so the Helix Stadium reverb slander is probably going to be "Hold my beer" moments for them after the last slate of "Dynamic" reverbs.

I think algorithmic and convolution reverbs should co-exist peacefully in this thang. Same way that Agoura amps and Proxy captures should.

I'm starting to feel like there's a whole pile of "coming in version 1.x" features in the pipeline here, so I'll probably sit and wait for y'all to find the quirks and pitfalls and see if I want one next year.
