If you assign Control A, B, C, and D to external momentary switches, you'd have up to 24 stomps on Stadium XL or 22 on Stadium.

I can only surmise that SWS is getting inundated with calls and they need to tell customers something. It's not the sales engineers' fault; they're getting their information from somewhere. I just have no idea where, because the Line 6 Sales team who would inform Sweetwater would find out from, y'know, the team developing the product. Maaaybe they held a gun to a puppy's head and screamed "GIVE US A DATE OR THE DOG DIES!" and we muttered "Uh... the 1st of, uh... Nov-v-v-vemb-b-ber?" Regardless, there's still no release date, but the wind is shifting toward much earlier than December 20th now. Jury's still out because it's ultimately not my decision.
Normally I wouldn't care but come November 2nd, there might be a bunch of angry kids on the YouTube Comment Clown Show© claiming Stadium XL is late when from our perspective, literally nothing's changed since June 11.

Tread carefully thou, because in this day and age, people will make purchase decisions based on what the YouTube zeitgeist decided that same week.
I think L6 should release everything, including Showcase, that was originally promised for launch. No one will give a shit about potential delays once Stadium finally ships.

Unless there's a scenario where no Showcase at launch results in P37* shipping earlier than anticipated (e.g. same day, or at least same difference, as P35), no matter to me.
*P.S. P35 and P37 may be completely arbitrary codenames, but I will never get used to "Floor" as a designation for the smaller of two Helixeses. (Nor HXS meaning anything other than HX Stomp LOL.)
