Yeah I thought the same thing - People still use and like old digital stuff say like a Boss RV-5 :) Or a lexicon or a whammy pedal.

I would agree to some extent with RS on software gear. Unless of course you keep your computers around as instruments too... which some still do. People are still using digital hardware synths and pedals that are 30 or 40 years old still. That's pretty dang good. Maybe the rehashing of his kind of argument is old, because in some ways it's too generalized and a lot of us have already made peace or come to an understanding with similar philosophical meanderings. Having a beastly tube amp and cab is a very solid and timeless platform, it's easy to get romantic about it for a lot of legitimate reasons.

Xmas for 1.2 Showcase + 1-2 agoura amps update.

I could be wrong but I think some of the speculation ( not you ) I see based on DI saying get it to you earlier might be off on what earlier means
My guess is is early might be Thanksgiving or Black Friday end of November window

Just being hopeful and optimistic. Would I bet money on 10-31? No. Buuuuut - based on DI’s post - if they don’t wait for showcase, it really sounds like the rest is moving along quite nicely and faster than maybe we expected. They have almost two months to hit Halloween. A lot can happen in that time frame.

I’ll still be delighted if it’s before the thanksgiving break. But hoping they really impress / surprise us.

After all - bigger Q4 numbers for them the sooner they can start selling that hardware.

DI - who is very careful with his words - said 1.1 would arrive MUCH earlier if they could skip Showcase. Which means it'd be ready for OTA download in weeks, not months. Leads me to believe late October is a thing as well.
