Line 6 Helix Stadium Pre-Launch Discussion

Damn I must have slept on the SLO video. If that’s all picking dynamics without rolling down guitar volume, I’m blown away. That seems way more dynamic than anything I’m getting in Helix right now, at least out of anything high gain.

I’m sure my brain is just hopium injecting all this, but I feel like there’s generally something different, tighter, more solid or more held together? The thump on the muted notes and transitioning between muted and ringing notes just sounds better.
I could be wrong but it also looks like that is just the crunch channel not the Burn channel ?
Is that correct ?

Is it me or ... does that sound really good??

Not even my kind of playing, but I can hear a 3D quality to it that I don't think Helix regular has ????
Yup I’m fully on board at this point. I’m not even an SLO guy and that shit sounds hot. I don’t know how to describe it - it just sounds more solid and together. There’s nothing there that glaringly points out that it’s not a real amp.

Everyone is going to have their own takes, but I'll say that while Showcase matters, it's for a subset of users....just like Proxy.

Neither is worth holding up access to Agoura, Focus View and the things that 100 percent of the users will be working with every day.

I wouldn't mind if Showcase is not available at launch, because it's such a huge feature that it deserves kind of its own launch - showing what you can do with it and how to integrate it into your uses.
I've got to agree (after going back a reviewing what exactly Showcase is) this is probably not a show stopper for most users, and as @laxu points out it might deserve it's own launch helping users really wrap their heads around what it can do for them.

I think a lot depends on what "a few things" means. Missing an Agoura amp model or two? Who cares. Missing Focus mode? Bigger deal.

I'd actually prefer if you were able to cook and release when you feel it's good enough. I get people want to try the new thing, but first impressions matter, even when Line6 has a trusted track record.
As long as it’s not Thomas blue amp x style cooking
