I got a message through Bandmix recently (in fact I've had a few!) of local bands inviting me to audition. Then you go and see their music and it's like....

I've been REALLY fucking lucky with the quality of musicians I've worked with over the years. Incredibly so.

I've kind of aged out of the kind of thing I want to do musically. I want to be wearing jncos and playing in drop B but everyone else who would be good doing that is on FB sharing drug memes and being chronically unemployable It kinda sucks!

Eh... Let's treat the first list less like "confirmed by Digital Igloo" and more like "fingers crossed, clenched teeth, something might need to go if we want to come anywhere close to the fabricated shipping date some dealers have been sharing."

Basically: Do you want everything on the list by the tail end of Fall (hopefully) or a slightly truncated list earlier, given that the missing items would be made available in a firmware update by the tail end of Fall (again, hopefully)?

Even if we weren't friends dude, you've earnt enough goodwill with me and in the marketplace in general, that I don't think you need to worry too much if some things need to be pushed back a tad.

I can’t remember what site it was on but there was a post about a guy looking for a new amp and the criteria was loud
He was like don’t recommend me any of this Plexi , Jcm800 shit , I want loud metal no earplugs like a DZL Herbert 150 watts or Engl
50 watts is for pussies
Needless to say he got hammered

I'm fortunate to have a group of true friends who have aged and created families together, plus we've evolved musically together. We still write, record and gig the heavy stuff every so often, but we've been delving a lot into funk and 80's-style pop rock lately (Can't fight the nostalgia of when you grew up but for so long...).

The last few all ages shows I’ve played or been to, it’s the early 20-something’s rocking the JNCOs and drop B six strings, but they’re playing “modern hardcore” which is really just nu-metal with more aggressive drumming and vocals.

And it’s hilarious to me seeing teenagers dressed like my friends in 1999.

(I wouldn't mind playing in drop B... nor being chronically unemployable... but there's no way I'm wearing those stupid dual-skirt pants.)

Maybe? More like instead of waiting until the very last day of fall—which I would personally prefer—we'd be able to release the product earlier than expected, except missing one or two things (which could hopefully still be added within the fall window).

I think a lot depends on what "a few things" means. Missing an Agoura amp model or two? Who cares. Missing Focus mode? Bigger deal.

I'd actually prefer if you were able to cook and release when you feel it's good enough. I get people want to try the new thing, but first impressions matter, even when Line6 has a trusted track record.

I can’t make a t shirt last longer than a year. I’m on my 3rd Return of the Jedi t-shirt (same one John C Reilly wore in Step Brothers lol) I just keep buying a new one when the armpits start getting fucked up
