I've started looking at which gear I can move on to get one.

Also has there been any updates on whether there will be a stadium version of Native? Wonder if there'll be any cost reductions with hardware purchases like before?

.actually after looking at the US prices again you're probably right. I'll definitely not be buying new in that case.

It'll be a difficult price point to swallow, but I'm totally game. Ideally I'd have the Stadium and my Axe III side-by-side for a few months in order to compare the amp modelling and workflow, and then make a decision on which one I keep. My gut feeling is the Stadium will win.

Whoa. For a product most commonly found on the floor, that's a disaster waiting to happen. No way would it pass a drive-a-car-over-it test, even at the lowest/most flush setting.

IIRC, the products out there with adjustable panel/screen angles have a higher rate of failure. And those are for keyboard workstations and sampling drum machines. As soon as you start stepping on switches mere inches away, that rate of failure would increase dramatically.
