Wait till you find out what the rest of music is.BTW, that's exactly what metal sounds like - jackhammers, chainsaws and other mechanical sounds. It's just organized, rhythmic noise![]()
Metal was invented in the West Midlands, where I'm from. They called it metal literally because all the guys in those bands worked in steel factories, and they thought the music sounded like the steelworks they all worked at.BTW, that's exactly what metal sounds like - jackhammers, chainsaws and other mechanical sounds. The thing people really don’t realize about The Modeler Wars is that it was never really about the modelers at all…

And a truly terrible series at that.Did any of our US colleagues get the patch name? The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE for short) is a UK TV Series
This is precisely the sound I always hated with Vox amps (had to play two different ones for a small tour back in the days because I was kinda forced to due to transportation issues and we were sharing amps with the headliner act). Jingly-jangly indie or kinda Americana style, whatever.
Fwiw, interestingly enough and to be fair: I pretty often like guys playing Vox amps - and in that case, I also dig the particular sound. I just hate playing it myself.
Anyhow, IOW, they seem to have nailed it quite well.
The clips so far are all quite outstanding.
I never had a good relatioship with vox amps as a player, but had to play few gigs with an AC30, almost 20 years ago, and honestly once found the right settings I chenged my mind about how I feel about them. It took me some time to get it right, though.
