I’m intrigued by this. I always top wrap, but the one problem with it is that if you break a string it’s a PITA to try to replace that one string without taking the whole tailpiece off.

Seems like this would solve that problem… but $78 for a tailpiece is hard to swallow. Oof

Anyone ever try this?

It's a neat idea. That said, top wrapping is IMO totally unnecessary unless your guitar has too much neck angle.

i feel like my current stop tail piece is perfect. im not really sure what this would improve.

I tried it once about 5 years ago and I liked the effect it had on the feel and tone of the guitar, so I’ve done it ever since. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well, the tailpiece is height adjustable for a reason.

IMO the Tune-o-matic and tailpiece is one of the stupidest bridge designs out there (and several of my favorite guitars use it :facepalm) so this is basically just correcting one of the stupidities of the design.

To each their own.

Sometimes I read posts on here and it makes me so thankful I’m not bothered by some of the things others are bothered by. It’s nice to not have to worry about things like that :grin
