If you were buying it second-hand, I would agree. If you equate what Kemper did with NDSP, then you have bigger, cognitive problems and maybe neither company should be your priority at the moment.
Oh, so you choose to go the insulting route. That tells everything about you.

Dude, I equate what my ass tells me to equate. And my priorities are what I decide them to be. And no crisp disgusting sandwich is even dreaming on having better cognitive capacities than me.

Ciao Bambino.

I've shit-talked Neural probably more than anyone at this point. But I'm bordering on selling my Stadium and moving back to Quad Cortex.:rofl

Such is the mental torment of amp modeler enthusiast life

I always struggled with his cab/speaker choice. Went in with high expectations based on what "THE PUBLIC" said about them but just couldn't vibe with any of them. Just goes to show how personal all this kind of stuff is (which IMO, gets amplified on full rig models where you're very much stuck with what's served to you).
Agreed. Given that cab/mic choice is quite a large part of the sound I'd say many of the people who absolutely rave about MBritt profiles are likely tuned to the sound of his choices there. I don't find anything particularly great with his profiles, though they aren't bad either. I think its more like hes just repeated as "the guy" so often online that the appeal to authority kicks in.

I think their behavior is quite different, but both abhorrent. How's that? They both over-promised and under-delivered, and while NDSP are a bunch of lying liars, Kemper likes to silence any tiny grain of questioning their greatness.

Well I don't know about anyone else, but I'm properly wet right now.

while NDSP are a bunch of lying liars,

Kemper has recently decided to join them. They both lie, they both over promised and under delivered, and they both behave poorly in their use of social media. Is one worse than the other? Hard to say, but to pretend there is a big difference is asinine.

Yeah probably not a big difference.

Except Kemper didn’t promise loads of stuff to drive preorders and then remove half the stuff from the list, like NDSP did with the Quad Cortex. Kemper might not be the ‘friendliest’ of companies, but they aren’t scummy gaslighting liars like some of the people in the Neural organisation.

So when Kemper said MKII captures were coming last summer, and that the captures would be the best most accurate, and that they would only run on MKII hardware, those weren't all lies to sell the hardware? They didn't come close to summer, the captures are not close to the best and they scrubbed that false claim as best they could, and they are doing their best to maintain the hardware lie. Hmmmm. Sounds like they are EXACTLY the type of scummy gaslighting liars that you criticize at NDSP.

I'd love to keep the Toaster as it's powered and I love using the Kemper Kab but what I'm hearing says sell it. Not that Ill buy a mkII to replace it...maybe get a used one a year from now unless Proxy makes the Kemper experience end.

The Toaster has an FX loop right? What about just grabbing a Tonex and sticking it in the FX loop. bypassing the amp capture part of the Kemper, but keeping the FX and power amp. I've never used a Kemper, so maybe that's not possible, but it seems like it could be a good compromise without having to totally switch to buying a new modeler / capture device and power amp. And depending on the Kemper's MIDI features, with the full Tonex you might even be able to get patch switching and all that so it feels relatively seamless. Same idea as people replacing the amp modeling in the HXS with a Tonex but keeping all the Helix FX and output options.

And no crisp disgusting sandwich

Whether or not a sandwich that includes crispy fried potato chips is disgusting or not is a matter of opinion. That they are fucking potato CHIPS and not "crisps" is not. They were invented in Saratoga Springs NY, and were called CHIPS from the beginning. Crisps is just wrong.

They should have given it a name that wasn’t already something else. See also: “Football”

The English didn't call French fries/steak fries "chips" until shortly after the invention of the potato chip, so yeah, you shouldn't have chosen a name that was already in use!

As for the game where you kick a ball around for hours hoping someone can score, I believe it was the English who named it soccer and then later decided the name was too American. :facepalm

They are crisps. Don't make France, Spain, and the Dutch, defend you from the English again. tsk tsk.

I know you said you weren’t a boomer but I didn’t have you down as being that old.

And steak fries? What has been done to that once beautiful language of ours? You lot have caused far too many language AND culinary abominations to have any influence on English words.

Ahh, because the most popular sport on the planet doesn’t constantly stop for adverts and half time entertainment, it’s boring now?
