Love to hear the recordings.
Love to hear the recordings.
We just jam in there mostly. A few of my pro friends get together and we play for us.Love to hear the recordings.
Ok.We just jam in there mostly. A few of my pro friends get together and we play for us.
THAT is a mental image!I don’t know, it comes across more like the guy who doesn’t understand good natured ribbing so he literally shits on your porch because you made a joke about his mustache and thinks those are the same thing.
You have professional friends? My friends are just amateurs. They're just friends for the heck of it.We just jam in there mostly. A few of my pro friends get together and we play for us.
Damn, that'd sound sick through my headphones... ;P
I mean pro players .You have professional friends? My friends are just amateurs. They're just friends for the heck of it.
I mean pro players .
Mine are just professional at their efficiency at which they drain my beer supply.
Didn't know we had the same friends.

It is indeed his goal. Go back through his post history. He drops grenades then acts all offended and outraged when people take the bait. I've sussed him out now.Surely you know by now how inflammatory statements like these are, right? I mean, if that's your goal, then go for it.
They probably patented “profiling” and detailed their specific approach to the process. You can’t zoom out and claim all cloning approaches. New approaches mean no stepping on toes to their patent.I do wonder though how Kemper managed to loose control of capture technology. I suspect their patent was not done well and got too specific .... allowing others to wiggle around the edges. Dumb. Likely the most costly mistake the company has made to date.
Yes, this is it.They probably patented “profiling” and detailed their specific approach to the process. You can’t zoom out and claim all cloning approaches. New approaches mean no stepping on toes to their patent.
Not really much else they could do unless they constantly predicted how other approaches could be done, and swoop in with new patent after patent before someone else did it.
And here I am, new to the forum, having no idea what TGP smell even is lel![]()
Smells like TGP in here.

A close friend of mine who is pretty damn critical of profiling keeps the Kemper largely for the convenience of having the built in power amp, gapless switching (ok now fractal has something similar), the solid build, performance mode, other features that lend nicely to live use... I think they are great units for that purpose.I still think Kemper is an amazing tool for live work. Maybe the best of any digital modeler/profiler once you adapt to its workflow.
That’s where it really shines for me
Maybe I did something wrong but I thought there was a small gap when using the tonex pedal.Kemper I think is also the only profiling unit in a rack format right? That’s a potential pro for touring.
Does Tonex do gapless switching?
