It's not aliasing, it's EE
There are a few videos, but it seems like everyone was thinking it was going to be better than MK1. It isn't. The firmware is identical so far with the only exceptions being the added "fixed" efx. The profile algorithm isn't being improved until later this summer.Pictures are popping everywhere… but absolutely NO DEMO….
« Guess what I just received !! »
That marketing is not great for a MKII.
But what I know for sure is that Kemper has already prepared the next 5 years updates, delivering them slowly as usual.
Now you’ve done it.
Jesus fucking H. Christ.

Still, from here:

you mean to tell me he bought the exact same hardware model but in black , with the exact same firmware as prior and no differences or tones were observed .. I don't believe youYeah and this type of media doesn't help. I imagine Jon knows it isn't different but still makes a video about it ......Even worse, he doesn't even play the profile he made
We know what Kemper profiling is like.....it's been out for years!
Well we wouldn't know as he didn't even play the profile he had us watch him create for 16 minutes!you mean to tell me he bought the exact same hardware model but in black , with the exact same firmware as prior and no differences or tones were observed .. I don't believe you
Even though I kinda agree with your post, you're way over-estimating the income a video like this brings to the creator. Youtube on average pays 2-4$ for 1000 views on a 15 minute video, considering he also has to pay taxes on that, he'd probably need to make around 1 million views to cover the cost of a Kemper... and that's not going to happen on a single video about a modeler.Content creators live by quantity not quality.
Quality doesn’t make the algorithm push more pennies toward the creator. Only volume of activity.
I bet Jon saw the volume of drama unfold in a few forums and knew how quickly he would get increased traffic. He knew ‘like and subscribe’ would cover the cost of the mkII Stage he bought. Then when new firmware hits it will be round two of increased volume… and add to it all the mkII profiles he sells…cha ching$
And none of that depends on quality. It’s all about hits on his site.
( I actually enjoy watching his videos more than any other chugfest players. He creates good riffs, great composition. So don’t scold me for hating. I’m ragging on the game not the playa)
It is significantly more accurate than Kemper, QC, and ToneX.Never used NAM.
Missing out on NAM! Give it a spin!To be fair QC and Tonex have some capture issues as well. Tonex levels are a common complaint and QC captures at lower gain levels than you monitor which requires some futzing, and also captures at inconsistent volume levels. Never used NAM.
Good point that I am really surprised no one noticed or at least mentioned. You are exactly right. AxeFxIII MKII as well. Turbo or not. Headphones out or not. This reminds me of when Fractal Audio released the FM3 Mark II and people were flipping out because it used the same modeling algorithm as the previous model.
Wait a minute… that never happened.
