Gotta churn the models, man. Tons of used Multiwatts doesn't help new sales. Hence, reissues.Good times. I definitely feel like the reissues were forced. There was no need to discontinue the MW rectifiers.

Kemper. So from my understanding that the camper two or whatever it’s called it’s a whole new hardware unit and the original campers or the stage or the powered camper cannot be updated software wise to make it a mark 2??? is that correct????
If it is then shame on Kemper for not updating the screen because that is pretty sad that they didn’t even embellish the screen or evolve it in someway
Camper. It’s the knock off version on Temu.Kemper.
No, that's the Campre.Camper. It’s the knock off version on Temu.
Thread 'Synergy module QC nosediving?'In the age of modelers, it's amazing to me the company that made the first real analog modeler isn't keeping up with the times. Instead they're releasing old tech - 2 channel non-midi amps at ludicrous prices. IDK what they're doing. At least the Mark VII is a great modern amp.
Meanwhile Synergy is thriving, Soldano has diversified to rack gear again along with pedals and Synergy modules, Fryette is thriving in rack gear. Mesa is stuck creatively for some reason.
Do you really think that makes a difference in the point I raised?!? I seriously doubt you do. You are just being purposely obtuse.I never said "as good as it can be" I said "as good as it really should be"
My perspective has measurements and science behind. It is the benchmark.
ner ner ne ner ner.
The last 2 modules have some qc issues but overall their modules are outstanding.Thread 'Synergy module QC nosediving?'

Outstanding in what? Quality? And this based on what? The last 2 modules have some qc issues but overall their modules are outstanding.
The other 6 ones i own. They're outstanding.Outstanding in what? Quality? And this based on what?
As in you like them and they aren’t broken? The other 6 ones i own. They're outstanding.
You come off poorly. As in you like them and they aren’t broken?
Awesome, but I’m not sure how that gives you insight whether the company thrives.
The sad truth is that customers love to believe that the makers of their toys are special.
The reality is that the cottage industry that the MI biz is is nearly as much smoke n mirrors as Giacomo Turra.
for moi!
IMO, the amp vs. modeler debate has been beaten to death. It’s not even worth discussing anymore as most guitar players are all well aware of the pros and cons of either option.Y'all have convinced me I made the right decision to stop @ Eleven Rack (good for practice/scratch trax) & stick with real amps![]()
Nope.Do you really think that makes a difference in the point I raised?!? I seriously doubt you do. You are just being purposely obtuse.
For a guy so obsessed with championing accuracy you sure do abandon it as you see fit with no shame.
My statement was very accurate. There were plenty of people even the year when the Kemper launched, who did not consider it amazing. Thus, your absolutist statement is false. If you'd like to revise your statement to "many people considered it amazing back in the day" then I'd be happy to accept that. But it is not universally accepted that the Kemper was amazing back in the day.More examples of your accuracy…
I said Kemper results were considered amazing back in the day.
You said “false”.
There are many many videos out there getting reactions from people/players who I dare say have the same if not far more laudable credits in the recording and performing industry. The word amazing was used in good bit of them. Right along with ‘perfect’ and ‘ no difference’ etc etc. All in the context of accuracy. That’s a simple easily provable fact. Just because you know the science to challenge their opinion doesn’t alter the reality of how others perceive something!
It is false because once you correct the former statement to not be an absolutist statement, then the logic doesn't follow. But also given that there were people who were criticizing the Kemper prior to any of these methods existing, then yes, your reasoning is flawed and your premise is false.I said but now in light of more modern methods, NAM, machine learning etc., it is criticized as a weakness.
You again said false.
Nope. You're misrepresenting me. Even if these modern methods did not exist, I would still think that the Kemper was not as good as it could be; which is what I said, and which is a different statement to 'less than good as it can be' - which were not my words. So when you say 'to use your words' you're also using a false premise.I’m pretty sure you are one of the many who cited modern methods making Kemper a ‘less than good as it can be’ to use your words.
You might find proof of that no further back than your recent posting history in this thread! And certainly there are many others who have expressed similar opinions that are easy to find. You probably liked and subscribed to them!
You do you too, rube dude in a snood. But you do you. I don’t think I can change your mind so I’ll stop now.
But...IMO, the amp vs. modeler debate has been beaten to death. It’s not even worth discussing anymore as most guitar players are all well aware of the pros and cons of either option.
Nah…lots of mission work to do…not everybody is playing hybrid rigs yetIMO, the amp vs. modeler debate has been beaten to death. It’s not even worth discussing anymore as most guitar players are all well aware of the pros and cons of either option.
