I can hear strange artifact noises in this example that I didn't like, and wouldn't want, personally.

One person's thought is far from saying the Kemper can't do high gain well.
WE ONLY SUPPORT DATA THAT ALIGNS WITH OUR VIEWSit's a scientific test, rather than an opinion
NAM vs Real amp: -40 lufs
Kemper vs Real amp: -28 lufs
That isn't opinion, it's a data point.

Massive opportunity to sell more packs obviously. I bet IK can’t wait to launch tonex 2 and get those v2 packs rolling! Also some additional thoughts on Profiling 2. If it does test much better, what does that mean for all the packs out there using Profiling 1? Obviously if you liked them before it doesn't change anything but I feel as if it might upset the massive ecosystem Kemper has built. Another reason I guess why I'm skeptical
The question is to what point are differences in outcomes relevant?it's a scientific test, rather than an opinion

Helix sounds better than the Kemper. There, I said it.Kemper in most cases has pleasing disembodied distortion. Helix does not.

If you having trouble dialing in good patches, I can help you. I won't even charge my usual fees.

100% this could be like the best summer for HW yetMassive opportunity to sell more packs obviously. I bet IK can’t wait to launch tonex 2 and get those v2 packs rolling!
All of them crap out on hi-gain tones that are more scooped in nature or if the amp's got Jose clipping diodes engaged. Only tech that is able to do that stuff justice is NAM (and IT still struggles to hit them low ESR numbers on some cases - still, it's audibly, & measurable, the closest). One person's thought is far from saying the Kemper can't do high gain well.

In other words, to what point does it represent a difference a user can percieve?
For sure there is a point beyond which it doesn’t matter anymore…is that the -40 of nam?…or Kempers -28…or higher -80?…idnk.
I think that’s where the “opinion part” kicks in again, not about the data, but what to read from it.
Yeah I have yet to find a faithful recreation of a Mark series amp with scooped EQ (in capture world)All of them crap out on hi-gain tones that are more scooped in nature or if the amp's got Jose clipping diodes engaged. Nobody talked about that horrible and persistent cocked wha tone on all profiles??
Can you post some examples? I keep reading this but there's very little examples of it. For me it's something that might've been present in some profiles and then turned into a buzzword. Every bit the way you're using it, because "on all profiles" is just nonsense.
Yep, that too!
Do your own search or go to the kemper forum.
The cocked wha problem is mentioned since the beginning and one of the major complaints
Some people can perceive it. Some people can't, or won't even try. That doesn't mean the differences aren't there, and more importantly, it doesn't mean the differences don't affect the final tone. The question is to what point are differences in outcomes relevant?
