This morningTGF Receptiveness List 2025
Positive
- Fractal
- Line 6
- Minus HX One and HX One adjacent products
- Mesa
- RIP Fluff
- Marshall
- Friedman
- Minus La Szum
- And me, except I do like a few of their amps. Can't stand Friedman himself though.
- Synergy
- ENGL
- Strymon
![]()
Rage
- Neural DSP
- I think it sounds good; I just think the company are filled with cunts.
- IK Multimedia
- I like Tonex; it's getting better. Still use Amplitube from time to time, as it has some great-sounding models.
- GearTuber’s not named Leon Todd or John Cordy
- Phil McKnight is fine, as are the 60 Cycle Hum guys, Dr. Andre Fludd is cool.
- Meris pedals with the bubble menus
- Switch the display, problem solved
- Chase Bliss
- I'd switch this to meh. Impressive engineering, coupled with mediocre at best sounds.
- Fender digital products
- Universal Audio pedals
- Boss reactive loads that don’t work with Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifiers
Meh
Had to comment, since I'm argumentative this morning.
- Kemper II: Improved Accuracy Boogaloo
- Any additional products by Boss that are not 30 year old stomp boxes
- Nah, the VG and GM-800 are killer, 200 and 500 series are great, Katanas are awesome entry level amps
- Everything else not explicitly covered above

There are many other uses of morph
- Multiple "profiles" (not kemper profiles) per preset ala Fractal.
- A/B comparisons of a preset
- Versions of a preset for different guitars
- Volume leveling support
- An alternative way to have two presets on a single footswitch
Cynicism warranted, and accurate.This morning

Sorry, Little Spoon. Another time.I'll return the flight tickets then. Pffft.

+1 for the Pitch Follower. If set right, I could play a whole set in a metal context and never have to touch a pedal. Delay, Reverb, and more gain for leads, dry and heavy for rhythm, all controlled by my playing. For the non-Fractal owners/experienced-

The Pitch Follower has been my most recent new favorite as I don't even need to be near the pedalboard to switch/morph the effects on, once I hit around the E5 mark the pitch, trem, delay and reverb kick on. Since the AxeFX/FM9 can run two amps, its just a couple clicks to reverse the parameter range so one amp is turning down while the other is turning up.
where Fractal you have to dive into deep edit pages to assign per preset switching and overrides and all that.
None of that exactly qualifies as "morphing" in my book.
If I weren't explaining what I was doing throughout this it could have been done in less than half the amount of time-
The only time you'd have to get into any Scene Ignore or Scene Manager editing is if you're looking to add different Channels into the mix and have to utilize the same effects blocks. Considering the amount of blocks available on an AxeFX, that's unlikely to happen unless you're into some Dweezil Zappa shit.
I think everyone besides Sasha knew this feature was pretty trivial between most devices, lolI do this every day on both the AxeFX and Kemper and I don't find one to be noticeably easier than the other.

Well, Kabinets, Kones and LPs are definitely being used. The combination of Kone and Imprints (simulations that make the Kone sound like a V30, Greenback, Creamback, ... that can be defined by preset) is just great. The Kemper Kabinet really feels like a guitar cab, much more so than any "FRFR" Cab I have tried so far. To me it's a big advantage over other systems. And I know people use it. But it of course can only be experienced with the gear in reach. As Kabinets are only sold direct, there are no dealerships where you can try them.I genuinely appreciate the small tweaks, bug fixes, and new effects, but for me, Kabinets, Kones, and Liquid Profiles were dead ends. I'd be really interested in a survey of how many users actually embraced those things.
Isn’t it just a “more accurate” eq and gain tonestack after the capture? STL tonehub captures offer that for their captures as well+1 to liquid profiles. It really works and best of all for Kemper it's something the machine learning profilers can't do.
Well they don't need the values to be ramped/interpolated in order to have value
