Again, I am not going to try to explain the math or the algorithms but will say that it is a fairly safe bet that the kinds of gear we are talking about here would employ these methods and make nearly all your assumptions incorrect.

I'm not a betting man, and this isn't about betting on things.
We can test it to be 100% sure.

(I would get a Kemper and do this test myself if it wasn't for all the other things that have put me off about them).

Considering you are an EE - I'm sure this wouldn't be much trouble.

I always get sceptical when someone choose to include their formal degree or position to give their statements credibility and weight, instead of letting their underlying knowledge and experience do that.

I bought a Player after the announcement and updated to the 13.0 beta. It works and sounds great, but the new profiling isn't out yet. I haven't seen any of the issues with responsiveness and hangs connected the computer like I did with my old toasters.

I'm over here A/B-ing my Fractal with the Kemper and dialing in an EQ to roll off the high end and boost the lows to get that Kemper sound in my Axe FX!

I saw that thread. BUT I will call say I've been on the record saying there is something in the mids with fractal.

The guy was bold to post that though and he did get a little grouchy

If it gets lost or stolen, you have to pay another $300. It's just really dumb.

I'm pretty sure Kemper will help you if you contact them in this case.

Maybe. But it's been a thread multiple times on the FAS forum and personally I agree with the guy. I know I'm walking on thin ice but I don't think the OP is crazy

The dynacabs were an amazing addition solely because they removed a decent amount of that midrange weirdness

And additionally he states having experience with real amps and plugins
