No, dude, that's completely different. The various Fractal products have different processors and different processing capabilities. It would be absurd to expect an AM4 to be able play any AxeFX III preset. On the other hand, the various Kemper products have the same processor and the same processing capability, so it would be reasonable to expect the Mk1 to be capable of doing whatever signal processing a Mk2 can do.

As I said, it's difficult to see why there would be a technical reason why the Mk1 can't play V2 profiles at full resolution. Also, as I said, it's easy to see why there would be a marketing reason for Kemper to ensure that it doesn't.

Yes it is. Open up your Mk2 and compare the DSP processor chip to your Mk1. It's the same.

The error screen he's getting - see image below has *nothing* to do with any of the Amps Gain or other settings.

Its the signal being fed into the Kemper for the Profiling that is too hot - all he needs to do is turn that down until the error goes away - the *only* impact on the resulting Mk1 Legacy Profile is that it will be a less loud at default volume levels.

That's a very good demonstration video that I think will help a lot of people, but he seems to be confused about a couple of things. Not just the error message, but the definition control as well. I don't understand why he thinks a high value is better than a low value. That's just a characteristic of the amp. It's not a score that indicates how good the profile is.

I gotta say the profiling on the player is simple enough, especially compared to the other stuff I have.
I always hated the refining shit.
What seems to make the big difference is the resonance in the cab block.
