I actually pretty much never like weird shapes (even if I'm far away from being a traditionalist). No Firebirds, no Explorers, no Vs or anything for me. But the St. Vincent model somehow moves my needle (the Mariposa is ok, the Albert Lee not so much for my taste).

That's a long road but glad you're past it!

A good friend went through the same thing a few years ago. He's still recovering from the chemo and wear and tear, but so far so good.

If I were to get a new guitar right now (and had the money lol) it would probably be the new Cory Wong model: I don't even know what that dude sounds like but I that guitar checks off all the blocks for me aesthetically.

December 2015 I was diagnosed with testicular cancer and had to have the left dude removed - it SUCKED but luckily I never had to do any treatment after that. Just got done with my last appointment! I could have finished up a couple years ago but it’s always been an anxiety of mine to stop getting shit checked out.
