Julian Lage solo acoustic tour.

I saw Julian Lage play last night in Whelan's in Dublin. A small venue with a capacity of 450. Just a bunch of people standing around him in awe while he played acoustic guitar. The hype behind him is real. I was completely mesmerised by his sheer mastery of the instrument.

I only took this one picture.

This video below from Belfast just a couple of nights before. He played this tune for us but obviously just the head was similar. The rest was improvised so our version was different.



If you get a chance to see him I highly recommend it. He is insanely talented.

I thought the gig I was going to was going to be with his trio. Only found out the week before it was him on his own when I got an email from Ticketmaster reminding me.

Was unsure going what a solo gig was going to look like.
