I still just don’t jive with the Fishman’s.

The guitar itself is fantastic though. Looks brand new and shipped with all original case candy, even the fretboard cover.

Not sure why the guy sold it this cheap but I’m glad!

The amount of 3-5 year-old, mint-condition guitars out there, for 30% or more, less than they sold for new, that the seller is definitely eating a substantial amount of money, makes no sense to me.

"Only played about an hour then kept in the case," + "Have to sell due to unforeseen financial reasons," etc.

Seems like people think a guitar is going to appreciate.

My last 4 out of 5 guitars were bought new, and the 5th was dead mint for half what it cost new, and they ALL get played. I am not concerned with/trying to keep them in perfect condition, just in case I ever need to sell.

Yeah this was less then 50% new as these are $2799 at Sweetwater.

And I’m the same. I buy new when I get the right deal but EVERYTHING gets played/gigged. I’m not trying to case queen any of my shit.

I’ve had Fishman’s in a guitar for about 5 years now and I’m still not sure if I dig ‘em or not. They work in the guitar they’re currently in so I most likely won’t fuck with it, I don’t hate them but would consider them “Actives I don’t necessarily dislike….”

I have always wanted to try them with my rig, but not enough to put them in one of my guitars and have to pull them and replace with what was in there.

BTW, @JerEvil that is a sweet guitar! Not necessarily my style, but it looks awesome!

That’s gorgeous. I have two Jacksons with Fishmans and love them. They’re Classics/OC. But I get what ya mean about not jiving with them cause Im that way with EMGs.

We like what we like and what we like inspires. If it doesn’t inspire, it needs to gtfo.
