Is this the place you share your happy times?

Lessons are easy! Only 1 in 10 are diligent enough to put in the time and effort, which
means the other 9 in 10 you plow the same row in the same field over and over again.

I’ve thought about doing the “Just want to play some songs you like without all the boring guitar lesson crap? I’ll teach you a few tricks to play around the campfire to impress your buddies, the first two chords of “Runnin With The Devil” because that’s all you’re interested in playing anyway and give you just enough gear information to make you a walking grenade on internet forums and FB groups”, I figure that way I’ll get someone that’ll cancel as much I as I’d want to. :rofl

All of the above, for me!

My grandparents had a ton of Lincoln Log and Erector Set pieces from when my dad was a kid and all my older cousins. I LOVED the erector set stuff. I loved doing the models and dad and I got into RC cars/planes for a while. I really loved making the planes, just the framing of them was cool as hell.

I don't even see those die-cast metal model kits anymore. Those things were a blast.
I recently built these two ROKR wooden kits. They nearly went out of the window on a few occasions. Some of the components were minute, not ideal when you got big fingers/ hands. 🤣

Seriously..... my experience is that is literally what the majourity of people want when they pick up a guitar.
Not theory. Not reading. Not modes. Not gear escapades. Pretty much non of the stuff we do here on a daily basis.

Songs.... songs.... songs. And probably the riff to Enter Sandman. :rawk

We are the obsessed and slightly deranged people. The campfire wanna-be strummers are the normies.

Start them with something other than the coolest song or riff they have ever heard in their life, and inspires them
to want to play and watch their eyes glaze over. :brick
