Bass and midi keyboard are already in my Thomann shopping cart wishlist. Just wondering if EZDrummer is so much better than the Garageband drummer (and in perspective, the Logic drummer)?

I think so, for a metal player at least. I didn't like the sounds coming out of Logic for heavy metal, but the Death Metal EZX pack hit the spot for me (as cringey as the graphics are)

It is indeed. Outside of having better sounding kits to choose from it also comes with a ton of MIDI files and their Tap 2 Find function where you tap, say a kick drum pattern and it’ll find a MIDI file that’s closest to what you tapped.

And if you really got into recording and wanted more control over the drum sounds, the step from EZDrummer to Superior Drummer is akin to Garageband and upgrading to Logic.
