Is it realistic to have a tube amp at home?

Interesting. I am thinking more in Dbs. For example, around 70 db I think would be fine in the living room. Around 80 would be if I am alone. But I am looking at speaking volume.

You’ve got an HX Stomp. You can run it in 4CM as an effects device and use the volume bock & expression pedal to control the overall volume level of any amp with an effects loop. This is particularly handy for quiet playing.

Thanks! But the Stomp is for upstairs. I am really looking for the possibility to replace the Yamaha orrrr accept that the Yamaha is perfect for the living room and the situation.

Yes that makes sense.

It also knowing who you are dealing with :) joining in July 2024 and having 3547 posts only 4 months later. That is a lot of work and can never be only high quality posts. That’s around 900 posts a month.

So what are you really leaning towards, amp wise? Be truthful.

I tried a blues jr. , but to get it warm and clean I founded I needed to push it already pretty hard.

I tried a Delta King 12. Was pretty surprised about that one positively on low volumes.

Another one I tried was a brunoti singleman. Also really cool but found the price a bit steep at 1600 even if that is relative of course.
