Honestly, I don't know. I never measure that. Wild guess is 50-65 db.

Yeah I think normal speaking volume is around 50. So yeah the amp would need to be able to play at 50-60 and still be okay .. but family to bed around 60-70 I think. Just a bit louder but nothing shaking the ground stuff.

He can be pretty good. But he is not that much of a philosopher like Chappelle and Burr.

Not really a need but if you have the extra cash and like good amps then absolutely.

Most modern amps don't need to be cranked to get the goods. I usually play at whisper levels at home and a 120w half stack worked just fine.
