I found JNC's videos very helpful when I tried going fully digital in 2020. His early hx stomp videos helped me out a lot.

We need to talk about presets. Trying to make sense to how he arranges the Fractal presets that he is selling, the preset and scene names, or trying to open the ones inside the FM3 folder with the FM3 (surprise! many were not made with the FM3 because the blocks get outside of the grid, and spike the CPU), can induce migraines and epilepsy.

But yes, he can't speak and play at the same time; which is understandable - I have the same issue. I often shout out "I just done a Cordy!" when I'm struggling to do both and stop dead in the middle of a sentence.

I feel that musical expression uses some of the same parts of the brain as speech? So that would make sense.
