IR Question

IRs might be different sample rates, bit depths, lengths and stereo vs mono.

It comes down to the capabilities of whatever is used to put IR files into the device. Most don't accept anything but files matching the device's sample rate (e.g 48 KHz for Stomp) so for example 96 KHz IRs would not work.

For bit depth conversion might happen. Most are also capable of truncating too long files to the length accepted by the device.

For stereo files, some will accept them but use left channel only, some like Fractal are able to show left/right channels as separate files and some like Strymon Iridium accept stereo files.

Fractal has the added inconvenience of having their own .syx file format which does not directly work with anything else. To my knowledge there is also no .syx -> .wav converter out there.

If that cab pack comes with .wav files you are usually ok.
