And the last I tried, I couldn't find a way to get personal and purchased captures on it, unless they were on Tone Net. It could use some attention for sure!
I am a big fan of Tonex for some things, but it definitely has some major warts as well.
I made that request to them almost 2 years ago as I really only use amalgam captures and there’s no way to get them into iOS version. You can get the special collection packs though. The UI though….makes me stick to NAM
Yeah, been hearing that for too long now. At first I was holding off buying until the Mac version came out, but now I am questioning if I really trust them at all.
I’m with you but not holding my breath. Often times a mobile app means an iOS or mobile-specific dev team, which is pricey. I suspect that’s why IK has been so sluggish with mobile updates for Tonex. They probably contracted that app out and don’t have an in house domain expert.

It was always going to be after 2.0 release. It’s a one man operation. He’s got a kanban board you can follow showing exactly what he’s working on and what’s planned next, been that way for years. Actually a solid dude and very transparent about pretty much everything.
If you’re actually serious about it - RME babyface pro is what I ended up at after working may way through lower end and mid/high level stuff. Wish I had of just bought the BF right off the bat. It can operate in class compliant mode for iPhone and iPad and be usb powered from both. It gives latency comparable to actual hardware which most interfaces can’t do, there’s also TotalMix pro app for iOS so you can control your levels and use it as a mixer. It’s also a solid ass chunk of aluminum and bulletproof. It’s also a great interface for use with a laptop too. RME has history of supporting and things decades old and their drivers are gold standard.
Well, it was coming soon 2 years ago and still coming soon today, so I am a little hesitant to invest in the platform. More my time than the $30, because it will take me forever to learn how to use the damn thing.

Not sure how the release of the Mac version affects you learning how to use it. I’ve been using it for probably close to 10 years now? It’s not like it’s some new upstart that’s going to be gone tomorrow. No different than modelling companies releaseing new versions every 4-5 years.

Because I am only really interested in it as a Mac product? I could buy the iPad version to try it out, but it would be a waste of my time if the Mac version is another 2 years away.
