I Want a Headless

Oh and on price. I paid £1700 for the Hydra pictured in previous posts. It’s mint condition no play wear at all and still has all paperwork and case candy. Know what you want save the money so you can make a cash deal and wait for the right instrument. This is the retail price of an American Strat in the UK.

The chances of my getting a new guitar depend largely on how beautiful my wife thinks it is (obviously if I want something I don’t need her permission, but it’s the enablement piece here). I showed her a Strandberg and she was disgusted lmao. Have to reintroduce it later on
The beauty of my girlfriend I've been with 7 years is that she's an enabler.
She was out on tour with Greg Howe and on the off day she was in a store and got totally stoked about Strandbergs thinking it'd would make a great travel guitar.
Which is what got me into them....influencer BS be damned. Lol

I believe @Devin has one of these iirc? I think he really dug it \m/

Yep, had them build this for me about 10 years ago maybe? Spec'd it out to be as close to my Hamer USA Cali as possible and they nailed it

Still easily one of my favorite guitars I've ever owned, and back then I felt like it was an incredible value being like $1500 for a custom

Only changes I've made was adding an adjustable hi pass filter on the volume and a hipshot tremsetter on the trem

I just noticed there's not a single mention of Abasi in this thread.

Someone has asked can they PM me for a potential swap for my Tao 6.

Better not be a HILS. :cuss

Is there something in particular that you don't like about HILS, other than that it's a cheaper guitar?
For me the hardware, the frets and the electronics are all deal breakers. You can fix the frets and electrics but it’s not worth it if you feel the need. I fully expect the hardware to fail down the line. On the plus side it’s definitely worth what it costs and as good as many more expensive instruments but I have issues with them too. If I paid retail to buy and get fixed the issues it’s not remotely cheap. Save your money and buy something that is fundamentally better it will work out cheaper in the long run because you will be happy with it as is and keep it long term. Also the Hills I put Ragnaroks in didn’t sound anything like as good as either my H/06 or Hydra. They have a piano like clarity that is just missing.
