For me the hardware, the frets and the electronics are all deal breakers. You can fix the frets and electrics but it’s not worth it if you feel the need. I fully expect the hardware to fail down the line. On the plus side it’s definitely worth what it costs and as good as many more expensive instruments but I have issues with them too. If I paid retail to buy and get fixed the issues it’s not remotely cheap. Save your money and buy something that is fundamentally better it will work out cheaper in the long run because you will be happy with it as is and keep it long term. Also the Hills I put Ragnaroks in didn’t sound anything like as good as either my H/06 or Hydra. They have a piano like clarity that is just missing. Is there something in particular that you don't like about HILS, other than that it's a cheaper guitar?
