Is all this before or after I spend a couple of years telling everyone I don't want a touchscreen on my modeler? Or a cloud(s)?Plug your ears mbenigi![]()
They made some ground up whether I like them or not. A big thing that would get me would be having the Stadium experience of "wee a touchscreen" and then downgrade to something that is nowhere near as responsive. Which is where the OG QC seems to be? Which leads to wondering if the new QCM is any better in that regard? Which then leads to the overall "wee a touchscreen" means nothing if that's the only that you miss about something?

Seriously, though... the QC touchscreen is awesome, and also the least of my worries to whatever extent it might be "less than best in class". Likewise for the Stadium, which I've yet to try. You'll use the touchscreen on either, and it will be massively helpful on either, and that's about the end of it from my perspective. "OMG I had to touch something twice" doesn't count for much either way.
QCM might be less noisy, and it's definitely got a smaller footprint; these things might matter to me. Jury is still out, wallet is still in my pocket. :)
Two guys who already have everything they want or need, talking gear. #funatpartiesNeedle:unmoved. For now?![]()

Do we know where Timbuck3 s wallet is on this ?Is all this before or after I spend a couple of years telling everyone I don't want a touchscreen on my modeler? Or a cloud(s)?

I don't think this has ever been in question.Do we know where Timbuck3 s wallet is on this ?
That’s maybe the question we want to know
The QC touchscreen is good, I use it everyday ( I don`t have to use the Edit app at all) Is`t so easy to use. I have old/dry guitar fingers, and sometimes my top of the line phone needs a tap or twoPlug your ears mbenigi![]()

They'd do themselves (and their customers) a real favor with a couple of simple tweaks to the UI: wherever possible, do not make block parameter pop-ups "modal" (per ancient Windows lingo). If there are other graphical elements sharing visible screen space, they should also be interactive. (Looking at you, Undo button. But also, all of the other blocks that ought to be draggable.) I think this lends more to the impression of a non-responsive screen than the screen itself does. The QC touchscreen is good, I use it everyday ( I don`t have to use the Edit app at all) Is`t so easy to use. The QC screen did get a `touch up` after 1 year ( i think ) the `zones` got tweeked, and is now good to use. Same screen, but better to use
It`s a really nice unit to use, and it sounds good, and it looks sexy as f*ck
Having them both here side-by-side, it is genuinely the case that the Stadium touchscreen pisses all over the QC one for responsiveness. QC isn't bad, but it isn't great. It is slightly below expectations for me.The QC touchscreen is good
Is this a matter of quickness, or a matter of the screen (and the elements on it) being larger? Or both?Having them both here side-by-side, it is genuinely the case that the Stadium touchscreen pisses all over the QC one for responsiveness. QC isn't bad, but it isn't great. Speaking for the Stadium; there was never ANY lag or lack of response. It's amazing in that regard. Is this a matter of quickness, or a matter of the screen (and the elements on it) being larger? Or both?
One thing that gets on my nerves on the QC is the way they've crammed the Save icon into the top-right corner of the screen, right next to the ellipsis for the Everything Else Menu™. Why not just make "Save" the top-most item in said menu?
It's quickness and touch response. The QC quite often fails when doing drag operations on the screen, for example. Stadium never does.Is this a matter of quickness, or a matter of the screen (and the elements on it) being larger? Or both?

It works for my needs/hands. My phone also pisses on a lot of things haha!Having them both here side-by-side, it is genuinely the case that the Stadium touchscreen pisses all over the QC one for responsiveness. QC isn't bad, but it isn't great. It is slightly below expectations for me.
I did see igloo have to press a few times on things in a video.. but im sure it works just fineIt's quickness and touch response. The QC quite often fails when doing drag operations on the screen, for example. Stadium never does.
My criticism is mainly hardware related.

So much pissing. I think you both need to get in touch with Chad Boston ASAP.My phone also pisses on a lot of things haha!
