Yep; somehow I missed him in the 80's.

Saw RJD with Dokken opening in 1984 on the Last in Line Tour.

Got tickets for the Sacred Heart Tour expecting to see Viv again, but
he was canned and saw one of Craig Goldy's first gigs with Dio in 1986.

That OG lineup of DIO was amazing. Band had chemistry.

This Joe Baressi Remix/Remaster of the entire Holy Diver album is definitely worth a listen
for the diehard DIO fan.

I saw Dio with Dokken for one of the best nights of guitar playing ever. The hearin Aid project was so cool too. Love how they put the mix of singers and solos together!
After Viv bailed Dio had no other good songs to my ears.

I saw him on the Dream Evil tour in Oakland with Megadeth opening.

I never liked Dave Mustaine and he was wasted onstage! Yelling and arguing with the crowd... Amazingly his playing was not noticably affected.

Ronnie and the band was excellent... And he fought of the giant metal dragon with a sword :)

From what I looked up it also says Savatage played but I don't think that's right because I would have remembered that for sure!
