I bought a Wampler Tumnus Deluxe - you don't need to open the thread

I actually bought this because I had a jam on Sunday with a mate. I took my Mark Five, and I took my Orange Rockerverb MKIII - because he just bought a MKII, and I wanted to compare them.

I ran the Klon Chiron thing on the Fractal VP4, and I didn't use the Mark at all that afternoon. Just really fell in love with this amp all over again.

In parallel to this, the old TNBD guitarist once tried a Tumnus Deluxe into my Orange, in 2020 or something... and it blew my mind. So I wanted one for so long.... and I finally decided to get it.

That's the story.

The TD is part of the OD Holy Quartet, with the 808, SD1 and OCD.

Main reason for buying the regular one was space on the board and I don't feel the need for the extra options either: a straight forward klon clone was all I was looking for.

Nonetheless, I find the deluxe version intriguing and sexy.

I didn't know it did that. I could use that myself at the minute tbh. I've got my Klone in a loop switcher because the buffer messes with my Tone Bender mk1

I have a fly gig this weekend with the orange rock of herb as my back line. I have not historically been a huge fan of the orange town as I find it a little too fuzzy coming from the modded Marshall camp.

I just bought the Tumnus deluxe. How are you running Tumnus as a boost in front of a RV dirty chabnel?
