I spent $1300 on a Mesa 2x12 Split Back so you don't have to (but you really should)!

The 2x12 vertical is on my list with creambacks, likely. The only reason I went with the horizontal to start is that I need the cab for my Mark III AND Dual Rectifier. With the Rectifier head unfortunately doing a muffintop thing on the vertical cab, that was a no-go for me.

Who cares how it sounds. It needs to look cool or nobody will think it sounds awesome.

LMAO I have my Mark V on top of my Mesa Virt just because of that perfect fit, only smaller amps are allowed on top of that one.

Not to hijack, but I ordered one of these this morning. Not sure why the pricing is lower than any other recto 2x12 I can find, as the specs and the full model and not the compact. It’s backordered until Oct 6 so who knows if it will even land, but figured I’d share.

Those Mesa 2x12 Vert cabs are some of the best cabs ever made by anyone, ever! They sound incredible with anything you put into them. I had one a long time ago and unloaded it with a bunch of other gear. One of my bigger f**k ups. I have a Marshall Vert cab now loaded with Cannibis Rex speakers and while it sounds good, the Mesa crushes it. I would love to get one with an EV on the bottom and a Creamback on the top. Congrats OP on a fantastic cab. I'm envious!

I also had a Mesa Thiele EV loaded cab back in the 90's that I recall was great. Also gone. I can be a very stupid man at times as my wife loves to remind me!
