Hologram Chroma Console

This reminds me a lot of the Alexander Syntax Error, except maybe better? Might have to put this on my (late) Christmas list. :)

Definitely! I expected it to be more than the $400 they are asking. Obviously not cheap but still.
I was hoping it would be less... :sofa

Not implying that it isn't worth the asking price, though. Definitely interested!

My thought was this is more useful and involved than the Microcosm (which is $450). Maybe it isn't though!

Two pretty different things IMO. The Microcosm is a specialist on all things delay whereas this here is offering multiple things to get crazy outside of the spatial realm.

Well regardless, I thought it would atleast be the same as the micro if not more. But happy to be wrong!

Given the visible hardware, they should in fact be in the same ballpark, but then, they're also not that far apart from each other.

Whatever, for me this seems to be the goldilocks thing out of their portfolio. Not too specialized and not too esoteric, so this could as well be good for some everyday tasks.
Too bad, because just one day after its release I'm already almost sure I need to keep this in mind when planning what is supposed to be a pretty much final build of my pedalboard.

That’s what I kind of dig about it. It can be used in a more traditional sense, just chaining the modules in any combination or path you want. It seems to have some utility beyond just getting silly with the capture/looper/gestures. A lot of these types of pedals are cool from a novelty perspective but have little practical use, this seems to have both. (Assuming the core effects for each module are strong)

Exactly.

From what things sound like so far, they seem to be at least quite decent - but I guess you could be running into situations where you'd typically adjust some more parameters here and there, which doesn't seem to be possible. Possibly a bit about being lucky, too.

I'd like to know/hear more about that alleged "versatile reverb". All the rest sounds like a blast, but I'm wondering if "SPACE" would have legitimate utility value as a conventional reverb.

Yeah I’d like to see someone demo the 20 effects in isolation before getting whacky with the gestures and looper etc.
