The part where he says "judge him" when referring to an inanimate object has me wondering.I'm calling it. Dude's been compromised.
Lol… niet
Digial igloo i have a question… considering fgdp50 drumpad thing but i just read this… can you check to see if this is indeed true?
Great little finger drum pad unit, but runs on a NON-REPLACEABLE lithium ion battery rated at 500 charge cycles. The battery needs charging after one or one-and-a-half hours use. So after the unit is used for 500-700 hours it is permanently dead. This is the worst example of "planned obsolescence" I have ever seen. Yamaha has made no provision for the battery to be replaced by the user or the company. A HUGE FAIL by Yamaha
That's a bummer and if so, I don't disagree.Digial igloo i have a question… considering fgdp50 drumpad thing but i just read this… can you check to see if this is indeed true?

I'm pretty sure it's a distribution and/or legal thing. Believe me, there's no advantage to us to keep this US only.@Digital Igloo
Slight interjection, but I thought I'd better ask if this is correct?
A promo email from Line 6 about the sale ending soon and it mentions "US Only".
If true, no biggy for me as an outsider as I already paid up for Helix Native, but if this is incorrect, it might be worth looking into and fixing.
Surely there are people in other countries that might like the offer?

Yeah, maybe. It definitely seemed like an odd decision if it wasn't a mistake.I'm pretty sure it's a distribution and/or legal thing. Believe me, there's no advantage to us to keep this US only.
Aww. My jet ski jokes were made out of love.Weird that a need was felt to throw shade at Yamaha, one of the greatest musical instrument manufacturers in world history, in response to a simple inquiry. At the very least, Yamaha has a stellar track record of consistently excellent manufacturing quality. Even weirder that nobody noted that Yamaha spun off the motor company in 1955. They're separate companies.
But sure, all Yamaha knows about are jet skis and motorcycles.![]()

Yep. Back in 1887, Torakusu Yamaha carried his first organ prototype on his back from Hamamatsu to Tokyo (160 miles). The first product they made was an electric organ, IIRC. Hence the logo of three tuning forks.

You should tell that story every time someone bitches about the size of the Helix.Yep. Back in 1887, Torakusu Yamaha carried his first organ prototype on his back from Hamamatsu to Tokyo (160 miles) on his back.
In the snow. Uphill. Both ways.Torakusu Yamaha carried his first organ prototype on his back from Hamamatsu to Tokyo (160 miles).
