Sorry @spawnofthesith
Yep, a lot of the finish ply takes special attention when sanding. You can easily burn through. The challenge I have with "the good stuff" is that the good looking grain is truly a veneer, not a ply, so holy moly do you have to take care with any kind of wetting/sanding/etc., you might usually do to even things out a bit.
Yeah, if OP is happy with the pics in the OP, all should be fine. Wood dorks are gonna wood dork. When my best friend got divorced one of my first thoughts was "Of course you did. She had that poor Vermont furniture maker build her a custom maple rocking chair and afterwords had the nerve to ask him to stain it walnut brown. That is some unforgivable shit"

Here's a couple of low effort photoshops for Indigo. I used the Brown basket and Oxblood Gold Stripe Vintage grille cloths here.
Yeah I think the issue is that since the amp itself is black, any high contrast color looks a bit odd.Woah sick thank you haha!
I do like it with the white still but you may be on to something with the brown/oxblod that does look nice

Don't know if you could get say a custom white faceplate to put over the original front panel from somewhere?
Looks fine. Better than mixing browns and blues together!Yeah I think the issue is that since the amp itself is black, any high contrast color looks a bit odd.
