I just got the Mastotron in today. I haven’t had a chance to play it yet, but have liked playing through one in the past.

That was my problem with the two zvex pedals I had. Horizontal 1590bs with side mounted jacks, they took up so much space on my board.

Honestly; I am geared out right now. So even saying I should buy a pedal of some sort I don't have any idea what in the world I would buy? Maybe an AM4 I don't need Don't feel bad!

Apart from a new reverb pedal there's not a lot I really want and tbh I'm not sure I actually need a new reverb pedal.

I'm writing and playing a lot at the minute. I find I'm less interested in buying stuff when I'm in that mode. My home pedalboard has loads of stuff on it but my rehearsal/gigging board is pretty stripped down.

Stripped down to the essentials is best. Especially if you are being musically productive vs. tone or gear chasing. You have the bonus ability of being able to build whatever pedal you want as well; so that probably is a nice little tidbit to hold on to

Ah, well if we add pedals I've built then there's been a few.

Yeah, his vertical pedals are a much better form factor. I just saw that a decent amount of his newer pedals have vertical versions (59 Sound, Vibrophase).
I just keep my pedals loose off pedalboards these days, but I was occasionally looking at the vertical versions of the Fuzz Factory and Box of Rock. The regular versions were just priced much lower on the used market.
