Have You Bought Any Pedals Lately In 2026?

I bought and installed a momentary footswitch on my pedalboard for the wife.
When I press it, a buzzer goes off in the kitchen, with an accompanying flashing red light - and it’s time to put the kettle on.
Service is fairly good, and I seldom have to view the kitchen’s CCTV to make sure it’s working.
The other night, she asked me if I’d ever thought about using marital aids on her? I replied that whilst they do indeed make remote-control sex devices - I simply don’t have space on my board for more switches.

I’ve got a PastFX Gallstone on the way as well. I love my PastFX Elastic Mattress, but I don’t have any firsthand experience with the Gallstone yet. Does anyone here have one?

No, but I once had a particularly nasty urethral infection, which spread to my bladder, and lasted for months.
Looks ok. Probably best on slow, filtery sweeps, with a Univibe for movement, into a slow flange. Everything subtle.
Shame it doesn’t have a pause footswitch to stop the sweep.

Choir mod on the Mel9 is so cool! Verbera is great. Synesthesia too but a better UI would be welcome. Could not test the Knife Drop yet.

Earlier this year :
- Ampero 2 Stomp
- Plethora X3
- Mooer GL200
- Flamma FF20
- Riot clone
- Fuzz Factory 7 clone
- Joyo Wah pedal
- Harley Benton GPA-100
- Tone X One
- GP-5
- M-Vave IR Box
- WA Slo
- WA Ages
- Mooer Purer Octaver (awful latency, sent it back)
- WA Fathom
- WA Arp 87
- M-Vave Reverb (forgot the name)

Still expected :
- Duellist
- Infinite sustainer mini
- Skeleton Key
- Hairy Show fuzz
- King of Tone

Just got the best Big Muff variant (IMO) yesterday! Definitely one of the best straight-outta-the-box pedals I have ever played through. (The only other one I had this experience with was the Tchula.) I’m surprised that more clones of this don’t exist. Would be awesome to give the Op-Amp Muff circuit a 3-band pre-EQ and pre-boost treatment. Throw in an independent switchable analogue octave up and I’d insta-buy it.

I wonder how close it sound to the original. I have the original Chandler rack unit but it is too cumbersome for my setup. A unit on my pedal board would work. Are you digging it?

I’ve only had a chance to play with it briefly, but my first impressions are promising.

Like many here, I have way too many dirt pedals and keep buying more. But with this pedal being a hybrid two-stage design with a BC558 PNP Fuzz Face–style front end feeding a Zendrive-inspired op-amp overdrive stage, it doesn't feel redundant at all to me. It behaves somewhere between a fuzz and an overdrive, though perhaps more towards the fuzz side than I expected before I got it. Great dynamics and volume knob cleanup, as you would probably expect. More complexity and less predictability than your typical Tubescreamer. Less transparent than your Timmy or Lightspeed, of course.

But keep in mind that I have not compared it directly to the Tube Driver, or to the original Dover Drive. I do belive @DrewJD82 is working on a thorough comparison of his four (?) Dover Drives, though.
