Knowyourmeme says for the origin of the "Bro Explaining" meme:Ahhh I am not sure where the meme originated from. I always thought it was something snagged from a rando jumbotron somewhere
Never read the book
I took Jive's post as a suggested course of action (which I totally agree with), rather than a statement of fact about his life experience.Neither have I, I was just talking about Laxu’s quote.
It's a messed up box. Lordy.I took Jive's post as a suggested course of action (which I totally agree with), rather than a statement of fact about his life experience.

It took me a minute, but having read the book myself and seen the emoji he tacked onto the end, it became clear as day to meHahahahahah I totally took that as a statement declaring he never read American Psycho.
. dragging your gf to your favorite metal band show is kinda beta ..
Edge-of-break-up tones are the sound of a permission-seeking loser.MY WIFE ASKS ME FOR PERMISSION
jk if you are reading this honey you see many years ago on this guitar gear forum there was a forumite named...well; nevermind you get the point. I hope.

Definitely! You know what's beta? Not taking a woman out for a good time!
My thank god he is my ex singer is still trying to convince the whole world it wasnt because of her. Every show was an emotional outburst from her until he quit. Fkkn dream killers, dude. All this guy wanted to do was front his band until they carried him out in a stretcher one day. All of a sudden at 72 he decides he is too good to play bars and swears it wasnt because of her.Nothing irks me more than a woman who is interested in a man because he is a musician, they get together and then she wants him to quit music.
My wife is awesomely supportive, has put up with a ton of noise emananting from the music room, gone to see some really shitty shows I've played, listened to me learning entire songboooks of bands, and puts up with far-too-frequent deliveries of new gear. She's a keeper.
Our musical tastes rarely overlap, so I try to be conscientious of not bombarding her with my choices.
