Ghetto Moments in Modeling.

Running an Ampero Mini in to my Fender TM Super Reveb 4x10 and am loving it! Sometimes a walk on the wild side ignites passion.
It’s quite amazing what seemingly well built cheap gear can offer when you bring it. Just had a 1.5 hours jam session. You know the type… everything is fresh and cool. Here’s to those moments. May we each have more of them.

Before buying a second FM3 and monitors, my practice rig was a Blackstar ID: Core 20. Wasn’t even close to the Fractal in terms of accuracy, but it was very inspiring to play through at low volumes when shedding. I since donated that amp to my local guitar store to give away.

This is the coolest thing I”ve heard lately. Very, very awesome, I’d like to have 30 days of that and then rinse and repeat.

Strymon Riverside (tube preamp-ish) -> Hudson Broadcast clone at 27V to be able to drive a poweramp -> Fryette Power Station -> 4x10 cab.

It sounded surprisingly good and Marshallish! The ghetto part is using two overdrive pedals as a preamp.

Awesome! Imho, Hotone is among the upper-tier cheapos. They seem to at least know what they're doing, and their stuff seems legit and reliable.
That's probably a fun little rig, nothing wrong with that, as long as it sparks joy. 🥳

I never tried that particular combination but the Strymon Riverside is very sweet. If the Iridium delivered this amount of tone across all three amp categories I’d still have one. Very nice, I’d like Strymon to release library pedals like UA. It would be nice too see some competition other than NUX.

Neat colors available as well, I matched mine to my yellow Boss units. The OD-200 and OD-1X. Just for grins. I get orange next go. You can guess why.

Just a solid, easy to use unit. Add in the 100 pattern integrated drum machine as well. No brainer.

I actually hope they update the mini , it’s a great Form Factor and UI IMO
Yeah for that form factor I don't even mind not having knobs. Stuff the Ampero 2 DSP into it and you'd have a great mini rig.

I’m gonna win the ghetto match:
Gigged a Mooer 150 ge into the a fender superchamps x2, into the poweramp input I had it modded with.

Albeit the speaker is now replaced with a corcksniffery one…that amp is still in service, and often in use as one side of a stereo rig.

Well now, I’m sorry that Albert the Speaker has been replaced by a cork soaker.

Pedal of choice (currently an Xotic AC Boost), VOX Copperhead and Silk Drive pedals in preamp mode, and a ZOOM MS-70 CDR, into a modded Fender Super Champ and/or a ToneX One doing the tube power amp sim via a Sonic IR for DI.

A cheap pedalboard made out of stuff that was laying around, sounds great for clean through low gain!

Pedalboard is a clipboard minus it's clip, painted chassis black.

I think running the Ibanez Pentatone preamp in to the ART MP V3 is overdue. I’ll use a simple mono Neunabor delay in between them then finally out through the Mooer Cab X2 to Yamaha Studio 8 headphones. I’m gonna shoot for huge stack tone and just use the delay as a “live presence” sort of thing. Like a barely controlled rage tone with harmonics coming from the fretboard, preamp gain and power amp flavor. I’m hoping I am brave and push the limits of what I know and what I might learn. TT has always inspired me in that respect.

Very cool! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Vox Pedals just look so sexy.
NuTube dual triodes in each along with active BMT and additional solid state gain, so they feel good and sound good too.

They have a feature where you can connect them together and switch between them with one press of the foot.

They sound nice with an additional tube power amp or sim, and they're cheap.
