Fryette Ultra Lead II

I would like more info about this part of the product description:
„Finally, we developed an all-new switching and signal processing platform that offers a stunning array of sonic possibilities in a slick, intuitive sound modification system that can be managed via the onboard LCD display or operated remotely via a custom graphical user interface.“

Is this just digital control for the analog circuitry or is there a section with DSP stuff for speaker sim, maybe even FX and stuff? And what is the remote graphical interface, an app for the phone?

Exciting it is!
No the signal is digitised for the graphic EQ and other functions. Digitally-controlled analog is much cooler, but harder to achieve.

I only had one experience with Fryette customer service and it was pretty stellar, but I was local to them at the time.
I inquired about putting an effects loop on a Deliverance 60 and Steve replied himself and told me to come on over. I went to the factory and he installed the loop himself while I waited. Then he gave me a factory tour, let me try out a bunch of amps and spent a good hour chatting with me. That was over 15 years ago though, but still. I couldn't have asked for better service.

Good lord this amp looks killer!

Gotta say, this is more like what I wished Mesa had done with the Mark VII.

Just the EQ with presets is big. While real sliders > moving a knob to pick a slider to adjust, there's always the computer editor for easier use and once you dial it in, you just save it and call it a day.

I find that on my Mark V once I have the EQ set I don't really touch it unless I dial in a completely different sound.

One concern I have after hearing all the details and commentary is where is the master volume? I assumed it was on the top right above the power switch but somebody on a different post elsewhere told me that is not true and that is something to do with the digital interface.

Not that it would be a deal breaker or anything but to my recollection with the pit bull that I had the amp really opened up quite a bit if you maxed the master volume and lowered the channel volume.

I'd guess the power amp is already preset to max and you control the loudness on the channel volumes. A lot of amps are like that (800, DSL, 5150 etc).

Yeah that knob is a digital encoder. One would presume there's an MV in the DSP section - it's very easy to do there and requires no extra hardware / panel real estate.
