Honestly, the Dirty Shirley is arguably the worse name.I wouldn’t own it because it uses el84’s and sounds small.

And boring ass music no matter how "sophisticated" the chord changesFagen & Becker are still the GOAT for dirty names…

It’s definitely not a good name at all. But like what has been said, he seems to be getting away from those names. That’s a good move on his part because they aren’t good and imho not because of the innuendos…. they are just stupid.Honestly, the Dirty Shirley is arguably the worse name.
and "boring woke snowflakes that can't take a joke".

My band does Do It Again, which is a lot of fun to play. But overall, I have always looked at Steely Dan as music for people who were in the chess club in school and didn’t get laid until they were 37.And boring ass music no matter how "sophisticated" the chord changes![]()

and had the cash to pay for it.
Back on topic -- has he got any special cab to go along with this? I feel like Vox and Dumble-style amps are the most sensitive to cab choice. Would be curious to see what he had in mind to blast this thing through.
He said there’s a matching 2x12 with Celestion Blues or GB’s if you want a cheaper option.Back on topic -- has he got any special cab to go along with this? Huh. Unexpected. He said there’s a matching 2x12 with Celestion Blues or GB’s if you want a cheaper option.
True. That said, I'll admit that don't tend to like joke names on stuff I buy, especially if those things cost a considerable amount of money and I might want to resell them. Doesn't matter what the joke is.And to be clear, while his newer products don't bear those names -- he's still selling an amp called the Pink Taco V2. I there's plenty of non-overlapping Venn diagram region of "people that aren't gonna buy an amp called a Pink Taco" and "boring woke snowflakes that can't take a joke".
Definitely the latter, but there were some rockers and some pretty girls in chess club when I was a kid.My band does Do It Again, which is a lot of fun to play.
