Hey guys. This is my first post, so I hope I’m doing everything right. I created TouchOSC templates for the Strymon TimeLine, BigSky and Mobius, which you can use on your iPad or Android tablet to control your Strymon pedals through MIDI. You’ll need the TouchOSC app to run them, available in the App Store and Google Play. Go to my website below to download the templates. I’ve seen many people asking for these templates over the years, so I gave it a shot. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS on my website. So far, users have reported that everything displays well, but if by any chance they don’t display correctly on your device, let me know and I’ll create a version that will. Cheers and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

The templates are free but feel free to buy me a beer

Here are some screenshots:

These look great! I really should look into TouchOSC at some point.
Thank you. They update automatically with your preset settings when you’re going through the presets, so you can easily edit them. It’s been a game changer for me.

I'm probably going to see if TouchOSC has a Black Friday sale and pick it up.

I don't have a Timeline/Mobius/BigSky, but would like to make templates for the rest of my Strymons, definitely going to take some inspiration from these.

For example that X/Y controller might be very cool for controlling the L/R panning of Strymon Volante's tape heads. It's somewhat awkward to do on the pedal.

These are looking gorgeous! As a (not experienced, but still) TouchOSC user, I can imagine how much work you've invested.
Too bad I don't own a single Strymon pedal.

Oh, defenitely! It's nerd level 9000 - should be right up your alley (and I mean that positively, just so you don't get me wrong...).

Fwiw, if you want to get a taste of it, the macOS/Windows versions run as unlimited demos (just a little 5 second nag screen, Reaper style). You will likely need to get comfortable with them anyway, as it's a lot easier to program things on a desktop computer (they communicate directly with the mobile versions through some bridge once you're in the same network).

You can definitely use these as your basis, however keep in mind that some Strymon pedals will not send their state back to TouchOSC. I don’t know if that’s the case with the Volante, but going through the MIDI section in the manual I’m pretty confident it will work. I know for a fact that Strymon Cloduburst doesn’t send its state back to TouchOSC. I had a long conversation with Strymon support about this, and we tried to make my Cloudburst template work, unsuccessfully. I asked them to include this in a future firmware update. Fingers crossed. Those smaller pedals would benefit tremendously from these templates.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it! It took a lot of work indeed (and a lot of frustration at times), but after the first template was ready, the others were much easier and faster to program, since they all have the same basis!
