transistor tube power setting has me in hysterics rn ngl, as a rack preamp fanatic it sounds like i got 372 brand new models now. and for my beloved dual rectifier, I can actually use the tonestack without causing a trainwreck now, to find the preamp sweet spot. then go turn back on 6L6s and isolate why it would sound like cardboard. usually speaker nodes 9 times out of 10. for the record I've never had a FAS sound that I couldn't fix 100% by deleting the speaker nodes first. transistor PA mode leaves just the tiiiiiiinyest hint of s.i.c. it's tasty and light
