What would the reload II do for you that the Suhr RL isn’t? To attenuate into your cab as well as get the DI?I don't play the real JVM at all. I would be much more inclined to if I had the Reload II.
Allow post FX and still go into a real cab. Trying to keep the real cab spirit aliveWhat would the reload II do for you that the Suhr RL isn’t? To attenuate into your cab as well as get the DI?
Is it mono out vs. stereo issue? Can someone explain this?
Gig Rig G3 > Send 1 > Axe 3 instrument input > Axe3 Output 3 > Gig Rig G3 Return 1 > Gig Rig G3 Output 1 > Mesa Boogie Mark V Front Input
Bringing the Axe3 in and out of the signal path using the G3 ... the signal hitting the front of the amp is much quieter than without.
This was with a very simple preset:
In 1 > Out 3
I checked all block settings and the input gate. Front knobs for the outs were all at maximum.
All the audio prefs are:

I couldn't figure it out. I can't remember if it was always doing this.
I put the Helix in its place, and no issue. So I know it is something to do with the Axe3.

Welcome to the first guitar quickie video. Just a new video series of mine that I'll do off and on where I'll do a quick raw and live but direct recording of me playing guitar on the spot with no backing track like I usually do etc.
Awesome! You should post this stuff in the "Do Something Challenge"!! This is exactly what it is there for ;~)) Thanks for sharing!!!
Understood! But right now, all you would have to do is put the link to this video there!! We are waiting for you ;~)) Challenge or not, keep 'em comin'!!!challenges and time constraint stuff gives me anxiety ;P and I procrastinate too much lol

That's what I generally do, a Creamback and a V30, or Blackback. I get along great with the Smallbox, just can't find my way around the HBE.I can't stop playing it lol. It sounds so good with all my guitars to me!
The thing that I think makes it sound better at least to me is using the 2 speakers in the cab block panned hard left and hard right and just tweak the main controls of the amp to fit whatever guitar I am using.

Try also adding a little bit of single slap back stereo type delay with one repeat of some sort around 250ms and around 10% mix. I think that also helps for me. It gives it a nice delay/reverb quality to the mix.
