Note that there are plenty of presets in the new 28.03 Axe FXIII set that can be run on your FM9 as well. If you were to load them, just watch your CPU meter to ensure you are not at warning levels. And if something does not sound right, you may be missing a block, but I would bet more than half of them work with zero adjustments ;~)) Looking forward to your first "Brockenstein" preset!I'm having so much fun! I downloaded some axefx III ambient style presets I found in someone's signature link on fractal forum and a lot of them working for my fm9 turbo mkII.. A few so far I had to delete a compressor or something due to overload warning but still works if you remove something and still sounds good a lot of times!
Also made my first preset too. A fusion / blues one I'll share later!
BTW, have you seen this (last paragraph in first post)? https://forum.fractalaudio.com/threads/fm9-firmware-version-9-0-public-beta-2.212712/I'm having so much fun! If you are interested in posting this elsewhere, I started a thread yesterday devoted to displaying examples of presets. Good job on your first, I will definitely have a go at it ;~))FUSION STAR is my first preset for the FM9 Turbo MKII but should be fine on any unit. Cpu is only around 48% to 49%.
MAIN JAZZ Scene 1 is just a boxy clean like tone that is best used on neck pickup of a guitar especially with humbuckers for more of that dark jazz sound.
CHORUS MAN Scene 2 is pretty much the same thing as main jazz but adds a chorus.
DRY DIRT Scene 3 is where you get into fusion land for some cool dirty jazz lines. Works best for me on bridge pickup.
WET ONE Scene 4 is the same as dry dirt but adds the multidap delay.
WET TWO Scene 5 is the same as the last two but this time adds dual delay on top of everything.
Get your fusion aka holdsworth style going on!

I updated to the the current FW this morning. I got home and installed Dyna-Cabs, imported a small selection of IRs and new Factory presets are sending right nowLove it! Super stoked for ya, Doc!
Have you gotten the FW updated?? 18 is a lifetime or 3 ago.
Jury is split, but for me Fractal Factory Presets are totally worth a re-load and deep dive.
They give you a lot of places to jump off from. Pretty sure there is a reworked batch
that just came out of the Oven recently.![]()
I've had a couple of times where I was testing out someone else's preset and they had a level cranked up somewhere for some reason instead of in the amp block so it was ridiculously loud. Now, I always turn the amp block level way down before playing through any presets that aren't mine just in case.My house when I upload a factory preset without dropping down the level.
