But you still can't do 4 plexdelays like the vp4 canlol
I very rarely go beyond the dual delay, so even one instance of the plex delay is a stretch for me...

Couldn't you do one from FM3, one from FM9 and two from Axe FXIII?I very rarely go beyond the dual delay, so even one instance of the plex delay is a stretch for me...

FM3 three times here, but FM9T just once (and currently).I’d love to know the percentage of FAS customers that churn their way from FM3 to 9 to Axe to FC6 to FC12.

UPS delivered a package today with barely a scratch on it. It was the middle of the day while I was at work. My son caught the UPS lady to thank her as she was leaving. Attaboy. He knew what was in the box. I knew what was in the box.
I got home and my son is in a zoom meeting with his English professor. From eavesdropping I learned he apparently has some overdue work he neglected over his birthday week so i paused my unboxing to talk him through some stress and we ate a little bit of food before I decided to break the tension with further unboxing.

I called the Guitar Center it came from and they blamed it on the new guy pulling the wrong device for the order. This will go back tomorrow while they overnight me the correct unit. I'm half-tempted to try it out anyway, as this was the holy grail for me 10 years ago, but I still haven't unwrapped it from its cozy bubble suit.

That should work so long as you are using analog outs from the VP4 to IN2 on the FM9. I tried to put the FM9 in a loop of my Axe-FX III with only SP/DIF in / out and ran into an issue with the clock source.I am curious about the spdif thing. If i go spdif from fm9 to spdif on vp4, then take the outs from vp4 into the IN2 on fm9... That should work once i set the ins and outs right in each machines globals.

That is what I was thinking but @iaresee suggested over on fractal forum...
"
You should be able to use IN2 and OUT2 as SPDIF sources on the FM9 allowing you to keep it all digital.
In the I/O setup menu on the FM9 under the Audio tab:
- Set the Digital Input Source to SPDIF
- Set the SPDIF Output Source to Output 2
- Set the Input 2 Source to Digital
That should allow you to do a full SPDIF loop from FM9 <> VP4 and back."
But now I wonder about this clock source issue?
