The Virtual Capo is noticeably better indeed!

I agree. Using the virtual capo in notes mode is excellent for single notes. It tracks very fast and sounds quite good. I tried it for faux bass at -12 semitones and it was pretty convincing.

The chords mode has noticeable latency (not enough to throw off my playing, but I can hear it) and it adds a slight pulsing / tremolo effect, but is otherwise pretty transparent. It sounds noticeably better than the previous iteration of the pitch algorithm IMO.

I'm telling you; the VC for what I need is GREAT. And I'm running a few versions behind on my FM3 and 9. I'm looking forward to seeing those improvements come down the pipe for the floor units :pickle

Ditto. I felt like it was just decent, then last week I compared it to my POG2 and found zero reason to keep the POG.

It’s pretty solid for small tuning shifts too, close enough I could use it live in a pinch.

Curious to see how much better it is now.
